Xpensi was a great idea. The problem was the market was dominated by much bigger players. We had to discover and define their competitive advantage. Whilst the bigger players have bigger budgets — the Xpensi founders have years of accounting experience and were already dealing with their target audience's expense management difficulties everyday. So experience and simplicity became the corner stone of their advantage.
